Assemble these supplies:
- 4 medium-size navel oranges
- Small bunch seedless green grapes (about 1/4 pound)
- 2 tablespoons sugar, approximately
- 1 1/2 cups sweetened shredded coconut
Steps in preparation:
- With paring knife, peel oranges and remove white pith. Cut crosswise into 1/4-inch-thick rounds. Wash grapes and dry with paper towels.
- Place orange slices and grapes in medium-size bowl. If oranges are tart, sprinkle with a little sugar. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
- Just before serving, overlap 3 to 4 orange slices on each dinner plate and sprinkle with coconut. Scatter grapes over the slices.
